A dragonfly
I'm not normally in favour of those large and gaudy butterflies and ladybirds and other ornaments that people sometimes stick on the sides of their houses.
But I thought this dragonfly on the side of a house in Dunkeld was really attractive and, for once, quite tasteful.

...because of it's sweet simplicity. Of course, I feel the same ;)
ReplyDeleteWe live near someone whose house is covered in hideous butterflies, but, I agree - this is much better!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the fad years ago to have a 'muriel' painted on the wall.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes still see these 'things' bees, butterflies, whatever, but I can't say I like them one iota.

Pretty...I'd like one!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really pretty lacy-looking winged dragonfly! I wish I had one!!! LOL.
