A Lemonade Award!

Shabby girl at A Fish’s Beach Wishes has been kind enough to award me the Lemonade Award. It’s rules are -

1. Put the logo on your blog or post.

2. Nominate 7 blogs that show great Gratitude and/or Attitude.

3. Be sure to list and link your nominees within your post.

4. Let them know they have received this award by leaving a comment on their blog.

This gives me two problems. Firstly, I know more than seven bloggers who fit into that category – there are many amazing folk in Blogland. Secondly, I am always loathe to put others under pressure to do things (in this case put a logo on their blog and pass it on) so I am altering the rules ever so slightly. I am making the award to seven bloggers but asking that they do not feel under pressure to accept it or pass it on.

Ironically, Shabby Girl has, unconsciously, made it even harder for me by nominating Simply Heather who otherwise would undoubtedly have been on my list. No one typifies attitude and gratitude better!

So here are my seven....

Adopting M. E.
Mary Ellen was adopted and makes no secret of how much she loved her adopted parents. Nevertheless her blog is sub-titled “I know who I am. Now I need to know where I came from.” Part of her life / blog is devoted to this search and I feel she needs all the support she can get. Her gratitude and her attitude are both wonderful.

Bluestalking
Bluestalking’s Lisa produces what is, in many ways, a ‘typical’ blog. Some fun, some family, some pets, some photos, some book reviews, and some general thoughts. I find it difficult to put my finger on why it rings so many chords with me but I just thoroughly enjoy her every visit.

C. Beth’s Blog
Beth is a great blogger and I defy anyone who visits her blog to leave without falling in love with her children and her whole attitude to family (including her blogging father and twin sister) and life.

Cheaper than therapy
Sandi who lists her occupation as MOM (note the capitals) is the mother of three children and a more than capable amateur photographer. She has a second blog Pixel Queen Photography. The combination of her photographic skills and her attitude to being a mother make it compelling reading.

Les Chaussettes de L'Archiduchesse
My brother and I have both fallen for the brilliant writing style of this young student whose joyful attitude to living makes one want to be young again!

A Pot, a thought and a smidgen of dirt / Margaret’s Ramblings
Fiona and her Mum, Margaret of Margaret’s Ramblings, have a super mother and daughter relationship and their blogs display this. Look out also for the gardening, useful tips, and not forgetting the pets! Perhaps, in the spirit of their relationship, they would like to share this award?

The girl who wears my shoes
Tricia is another simply wonderful writer – need I say more. It was a shame when she decided her other blog had run its course but I just love reading her prose and her understanding of human nature.

My Moments
Jen has created another blog that makes me feel warm inside as she finds such wonderful things and then photographs them so well.

If you were counting, that is actually eight (or is it nine?) but I could easily have added another couple of sevens.

  2. I just wanted to let you know it may take a few days to figure out how to pass this award on, and I'm sure I will break some rules, but I will get it together as quickly as I can. Once again, I thank you.

  5. Thank you so much!

It might take me some time to think up of a proper acceptance speech and seven worthy bloggers to whom to pass it on. I am quite thrilled!

    Thank you again!
