All too often when we get the chance to photograph our loved ones we simply stick them in front of the camera lens and snap. Rarely do we think about the person as we would an inanimate object and look for novel angles or different approaches. I was delighted when I took the above photo of Helen at Bryony’s wedding because, for once, I had put some thought into it.
