One of the things I did to keep myself out of mischief (and my mind off pain) a few years ago was to paint Games Workshop figures.
I also enjoyed making some backgrounds for the figures – a smithy, a farm, a witch’s cottage and so on. A totally pointless exercise but relaxing.
