Bonfire Night
These are some Bonfire Night photos that I took in the late 1960s.
And a couple of fireworks from the same era.
Let’s hope the fire service has a quiet night.

The second firework is a brilliant shot. Will see what I can do given the cloud ceiling is in excess of twenty feet.
ReplyDeleteOh, living out in the sticks I sorta miss the crackers! Dropped by to let you know I gave you an award on my blog, if you care to accept it. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteOh, Guy Fawkes night... thanks for the reminder of this British tradition... Familiar to me through literature (and British history) only! I think my earliest contact with it was through Richmal Crompton's books about William! And then there is an Agatha Christie / Hercule Poirot mystery where bonfire night plays an integral part, Murder in the Mews.
