Elections in Exeter
It is City Council election day in Exeter and Helen and Ian are both standing for the Green Party; Helen in Pinhoe ward and Ian in Mincing Lake ward. There is little chance of the Green Party dislodging any of the three main parties in any of the wards but hopefully they will achieve more votes than in previous elections.
The Mincing Lake candidate meeting people at last Saturday's Green Fair.

Good luck to both Helen and Ian! They're very brave and conscientious to stand for Parliament and you must be very proud of both of them.

Oh dear. What's the world coming to? Politicians in the family. At least Grandpa never actually accepted nomination (did he?). Actually I'm very proud of both of them for having such principles.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to both of them. We have both national and district and local elections coming up here next Sunday so lots of politics in all the media just now...
ReplyDeleteGood Luck to Ian and Helen. Downing Street Beckons!:)
