Carr Farm
Last Sunday we went to Carr Farm - a mixture of garden centre and gift shops - near Moreton on the Wirral. In the courtyard there is a shop called Glass Galore. Inside were some brilliant metal artworks. I was really impressed with them.
One in particular - these fish - would have found a new home but for our lack of wall space.

The sax and music notes are also very cool.
ReplyDeleteImpressive works I agree. It would be hard for me to choose between your fav and the last clock with what looks to me to be mother-of-pearl insets.
ReplyDeleteI love the building.
Oh, I like these... I think I'd choose the musical one!
ReplyDeleteThe saxophone has my vote. Good job I commented saxaphone has an 'O'.
ReplyDeleteI love this place; June and I go there often. I haven't seen the lovely works of art though.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a few of these online and in catalogues - mostly of fish or trees, but these are much more to my liking. Better not take me there!!
ReplyDeletePerhaps for CG's sake I should point out thet Glass Galore is one of those places that hides its light under a bushel. The front room is mainly small glass knick-knacks but hidden away at the back are three more rooms with furniture and these metalworks.
ReplyDeleteHi Scriptor! These are all really lovely! That is my trouble too...lack of wall space! The fish are really great, for sure!!! That whole place you vivisted looked really great!
ReplyDeleteThose fish would have got me hooked, too!
