Well it's amazing what one doesn't know about one's own brother. I'm not sure it wasn't just a bit too much information. As to what Freud would have thought.....
Do you remember Country Girl Kate, she was one of my Friendly Friday guests, once upon a time? You'll have to peek in on one of her posts today - I think you might enjoy her photos :)
Scriptor, I read your latest bit of news about the new Terry Pratchett... My brother has been "feeding" me these as audio books over a number of years now, I hope he will with this one, too! (I've listened to them all, some more than once...)
Hello - thanks for dropping by to leave a comment. Your comments are much appreciated even if I don't always reply. They will appear as soon as they have been moderated.
Thanks for stopping by! Would you like a cup of tea or coffee? And please, sit for a spell. If you enjoy my posts, please feel free to follow me or subscribe to my blog. This is a word verification free, family friendly blog, so everything I share here is for all ages. I am a happily married man in my late sixties who lives on the Wirral peninsula, near Liverpool, in the UK.
I'm a blogger - and nowadays that seems to be my main occupation. Rambles from My Chair is my main blog. I’m a retired local government executive - now studying how to survive a neurological disorder that gives me various problems but, hopefully, a whole new outlook on life and an increased sense of humour and perspective. There is a saying in Sweden "man måste vara frisk för att orka vara sjuk" ~ "you have to be well to cope with being ill"....
I enjoy most forms of communication and postcards are a special favourite. I used to blog as Scriptor Senex which is Latin for Old Writer but now Google only lets me post as John Edwards.
“He’s not so old. He’s just the age that he is, that’s all.” (Gerald Hammond)
I agree, they are an artform! I would sooo love to have one!

ReplyDeleteHow appropriate that was, Heather. Quite a coincidence. I loved her colourful cottons as well.
ReplyDeleteYour are so right-those are beautiful! I love to find commonplace things that are works of art.
ReplyDeleteTailor's dummies seem to have become quite fashionable. I am a bit surprised that they come in different shapes.
