The world is
I came across the following wonderful quote from an e. e. cummings poem on Heather's blog and I just couldn't rest until I found some photos from 1982 that illustrated it...

"The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful.”

Yes, I'd say the photos are perfect with the quote. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely splendid CJ.
ReplyDeletepuddle-wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt is, isn't it? When I saw the photo in my updates...I absolutely HAD to get a closer look, it was my kind of interest, you know...then I found that you shared this smile maker too.
ReplyDeleteWhen I found that quote - I truly smiled on the inside :)
Thank you.
I really like the photos that you found :)
cummings is soooo fun to read.
ReplyDeleteI love his boundary bending use of language: vocabulary, punctuation, capitalization, and rules of grammar.
e e inspires.
