The Indy car race at Toronto on Sunday was notable for the amount of yellow flags, full-course cautions, wild driving and general carnage. The pace car led 32 laps, more than anyone else, notwithstanding which it was a brilliantly exciting race.
The first across the line was Scot Dario Franchitti but the real winner was Dallara Racing - they supply the chassis and parts. They must have made a fortune out of all the damage.
Carnage notwhithstanding, it was an exciting race. And loud. I can hear it from miles away, even without my television on. Congrats to the Scot.
