The sun is shining; I don’t feel tired; I’m not in pain (OK, I’ve overdosed on my opiod analgeis but there are times when I get fed up of being in pain day in, day out); in the last couple of days I’ve had e-mails from friends I don’t hear from very often; Jo has no engagements today so there’s a chance of a quiet cup of tea and crossword before I unpack my new laptop and start setting it up while watching MotoGP (definitely) and the Wimbledon Final (perhaps); and between-times I may get out into the garden a do a bit of gentle gardening. So, at 6.17 a.m. all is right with the world. What really p****s me off and threatens my sunny disposition is that I can’t guarantee I’ll feel the same in an hour or two’s time. But for the moment life is a Good Thing. (Readers of ‘1066 and all that’ will appreciate why the capitals.)

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that things are good. Isn't it strange how sometimes things just click and the world is a good place to be for a change?
