Brilliant, almost as good as the car park attendant.
ReplyDeleteNeeded a smile, walked for four hours in intermittent drizzle and near gale force winds. Met office promised me sunny periods and winds of 8mph-12mph. What to do with them? Put em all on the telly and let them wave their arms about in synchronised forecasting perhaps.
A friend sent me a few similar things I thought you might like:
ReplyDelete'As of tomorrow, employees will only be able to access the building using individual security cards. Photos will be taken next Wednesday and employees will receive their cards in two weeks.'
'E-mail is not to be used to pass on information or data. It should be used only for company business.'
'We know communication is a problem, but the company is not going to discuss it with employees.' Reportedly from a telephone company executive!
'This project is so important, we can't let things that are more important interfere with it.'
Ah well. Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose. (Sorry, don't know how to add the accent marks on this machine.)
Cheers! The Canadian Chickadee
