Light flights

One of the things I enjoyed doing with the camera in the 1960s was creating abstract photos. Among the better ones of these were a lot of what I called ‘light flights’. Some, like the above, were made by opening the camera shutter at night and allowing the lights of streets, cars and shops to create patterns on the film.

Others were done using fireworks, clicking lighters, and many other ways.
