Friday My Town Shoot-out

Love the town hall photo. It looks like a castle! Our local town hall, on the other hand, is about ten years old and looks like a cement block with windows .... they don't build 'em like they used to!

The red thing on the tree is a carved 'door' and just above to the left is a window.

The Cast

This is my main blog insofar as it is the one I try to ensure has at least one entry per day - and usually two. It is also the one which has my Friday My Town Shoot-out on it.

My home is in Pensby on The Wirral in Cheshire, England but at the moment I am on holiday in the Outer Hebrides, staying at my brother's near Stornoway. (Somewhere I have a little map that says I am here and points to Stornoway but I can't find it and am too lazy to make another one). This is the cast of characters who appear regularly:-

Me - sometimes known as CJ or John and otherwise known as Scriptor Senex; Jo (alias Partner-who-loves-tea and also known as Partner-who-hates-being-photographed); Bryony (Food-loving-Daughter); Bryony's husband Mark (Son-in-law-who-cooks); Helen (Daughter-who-takes-photos); Helen's husband Ian (a.k.a. Son-in-law-and-Friend-who-loves-Otters); Richard (Son-who-watches-films);
