The sunrise and the mountains.
The birds of the air. This baby Skylark was temporarily stunned by hitting the study window. He flew off OK after a while.
The sea and the sky. (And deserted beaches).
A cosy fire. This was in an Iron Age hut.
The sun's rays.
Seedheads.
Buildings old...
and buildings new.
Stormy waves.
And wild flowers.
Of course, this post wouldn't be complete without:-"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens..."

ReplyDeleteDoes that telephone in the red booth still works?
Yes, Jama, the phone still works and there are a number of these isolated phone boxes around the more rural parts of England, Wales and Scotland. Some of them are now protected by legislation to stop them being taken away even if the phone company decides to disocnnect them.
