Back to normal
The decorating of the study is finished. The painting is done. The new carpet is down. Pictures are on the walls. The furniture is back and everything bar a few CDs is back in place. A lot of the clutter has been consigned to the loft. My desktop computer is now placed on top of the desk where I can get at the back if need be and it is switched on again. And all is right with the world.
It’s wonderful to be working in a clean, bright space and has proved to be worth the effort.

Congratulations. You did a great job. It looks very cozy and bright. A nice place to work-- or nap. It almost inspires me to get busy-- almost.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive, Sir - It must be very stimulating to be sitting in such a bright ordered spot!
ReplyDeleteSir, Blogger has eaten my comments! I wanted to say that you have made a very creative, bright and ordered space and I hope you continue to get inspiration there - Or words to that effect!
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely! Well done to you and Rich. I really like (but don't recognise) the picture above the bookcase. Is it new?
ReplyDeleteSo glad the effort paid off. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
ReplyDeleteThe picture was on the opposite wall - just above the computer but it was probably camouflaged against the tartan... like everything else!
ReplyDeleteLooks Great! What a job, huh? But so worth it! Like a clean slate, new beginnings.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. There's a lot to be said about a fresh coat of paint (plus carpet, plus...) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNice, fresh, clean, tidy - feels good, huh? I really like the feeling it gives with the walls in that shade...it's crisp and gives a happy feeling :o).
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a similar shade of my living room walls...
Woo-hoo and enjoy!
Congratulations! It looks bright and cheerful, decidedly an improvement on that tartan wallpaper.
ReplyDeleteHopefully having a new room will bring you great inspiration!
Well done!
ReplyDeleteThe place looks great! Good job. I always think that a cleaner space makes for a easier thinking, even though I can be messy. I really spend time cleaning every Sat morning so that the weekend is peaceful and happy and I am ready for the week.
