I remember the strategies our cats had developed for that night, such as hiding in the bathroom dabinet behind the stacks of towels where they normally weren't allowed. But on that night, we left the door to that cabinet slightly ajar for them so that they could get in and out as they pleased. They usually stayed invisible until the next morning.
Cats are so interesting, John, and the "Simon's Cats' video shorts absolutely "nail" them. Have you looked up cats in nativity scenes? (If not, search the web for images and a slide video, as well). To you and Jo and your family, the happiest of New Years in 2016. Take care, McGregor
