A good comparison, but unlike reading, physical exercise can be done with another person or in a group, whereas reading is something most people like to do all on their own. Of course we can talk about what we've been reading, or blog about it etc., but it's not entirely the same. Like most people, I need both - exercise for the mind and the body - in order to be happy and balanced.

I am using Instagram and Facebook a lot more nowadays and sometimes they are replacing my posts on the blog. If you want to follow me on Instagram my address is @cjohnedwards. On Facebook I can be found at Clive John Edwards but you will need to send me a request to follow me as it is not open to the public.
Maybe that's why i love to read. But i do hate to exercise, i consider it punishment.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, very much so.

And the aging brain seems to experience accelerated muscle loss and requires more attention to that exercise.
