Lovely photos! We have a saying in Dutch: "Jong geleerd, oud gedaan", literally meaning "Learned at young age, done at old age", which means, learned as a child, doing it when grown-up.
So the parents were wise to lend you their dear little one; great to build a new generation of snail mailing people! :-)
Hello - thanks for dropping by to leave a comment. Your comments are much appreciated even if I don't always reply. They will appear as soon as they have been moderated.
I am using Instagram and Facebook a lot more nowadays and sometimes they are replacing my posts on the blog. If you want to follow me on Instagram my address is @cjohnedwards. On Facebook I can be found at Clive John Edwards but you will need to send me a request to follow me as it is not open to the public.
That pillar box would fit in your collection of Christmas postboxes! :D
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Yes, a "thank you" to the parents who allowed you to take pictures of their child for your blog. Not self-understood these days.
ReplyDeleteSmiling down here.
ReplyDeleteI love that. Congratulations to whoever decided to decorate the postbox.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea, i think the post office employee who came up with that deserves a bonus!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see it done up like this. Is this where you post your Christmas cards too?
ReplyDeleteNo, Jenny, they went into our local box on the Wirral. I think Royal Mail only had about eight of these festive boxes around the whole country.
DeleteLovely photos!
