Clocks


I am aiming to have a special project for 2015 - collecting postcards and mail art of CLOCKS



They can be clocks in any form - I bet if you are a postcard swapper there is a clock somewhere in your collection of cards to send.  So any will be gratefully received and will be posted on my clock blog assuming I've got time!  Get it?  Assuming I've got time. 

If you haven't corresponded with me before please feel free to e-mail scriptorsenex at gmail dot com to ask for my address. All cards and mail art received will generate a card from me to you so if we are not regular correspondents please put your address on the card. Thank You! John

    A new project! Does this mean the end of postboxes? Or is it an additional thing?

      Oh definitely no! All my usual things will continue - it's just a bit of fun for those who like hunting appropriate postcards. For some of us the finding of just the right card can be as much fun as receiving them.

    The Campanile! There's got to be a picture postcard of it somewhere, and i'm going to find it and send it to you.

    Hi John, I'm not sure If I've ever seen a postcard depicting a clock before, but I will definitely be on the lookout and send you all that I find. Sounds like a fun project.

    As a Postcrosser, my theme for 2014 was FOOD AND DRINK, and for 2015 it's TRANSPORTATION. Kinda fun to see how many people can find postcards that fit! I'll keep my eyes open for clocks.... few and far between I suspect.

      Thanks Fenella - i've never had a project before so I'm quite excited about it. I have a friend in Morocco who has really imaginative projects and it is great fun looking out for cards for her.

    Hard to look for clock post cards here without getting TICKED off - ha! Seriously, Long Island has the worst selection of post cards in the universe. Unless you want lighthouses and seagulls, of course.
