Congratulations to her! Thank you for posting this -- i just got back in town, and i haven't heard much news for several days.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing young person, and so well deserved. I love to hear her speak, so intelligent and brave. She gives me hope for the world.
ReplyDeleteWell deserved indeed! Earlier this week, I've read an interview with her in the ZEIT magazine. She has a good head on her shoulders and with all her important work does not seem to have forgotten that she is "just an ordinary young girl" (as she says of herself) - quarrelling with her brothers, talking to her best friend on the phone, and so on.
ReplyDeleteWasn't that wonderful? She is such a competent speaker and definitely motivational. At least it was given for a true act of peace and not like another one given not so long ago (no names mentioned, but I am showing my politics - sorry !) given for misguided intentions yet to be fulfilled.
ReplyDeleteA brave, intelligent, insightful and determined young lady. I hope that she achieves her aspirations. The world really would be a much better place.
ReplyDeleteI saw her on a Swedish television talk show a while back... Just checked and it seems it was already about a year ago! I hope the Nobel prize helps to spread her message a lot wider!
ReplyDeleteShe's an inspiration for all..old and young. How wonderful for her and her cause. She radiates true beauty....nothing like what a fashion magazine thinks beauty is. Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteThis was an inspiring story for me, and I was very proud of her for standing up for what she believed in AND making a difference at her young age.
