So you change tonight - we change on November 4th, but just to keep things confusing in a country with a 4.5 hours difference from coast to coast there are at least to regions that don't change at all. My MIL lives in one and I am constantly waking her up or calling too late depending on the time of year.
ReplyDeleteThere's a certain amount of silliness about daylight savings time in the US too. Neither Hawaii or Arizona go on daylight savings time. Hawaii is out in the middle of the ocean so it's no problem, but Arizona sits between New Mexico and California, and both of them do go on daylight savings time. So for part of the year, it's the same time in AZ as in NM, and then daylight savings ends and NM is an hour later than AZ. Go figure ....
DeleteSo true!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth? Love this.
ReplyDeleteWe changed last night, too. And every year the same old articles reappear in the paper, telling us that it has long been statistically proven that nothing was ever gained by having summer and winter time with an hour's difference; and yet, the only country on this continent who have stopped this silliness already a year ago are Russia.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to be back on normal time, as my body clock never quite adjusts to summer time anyway. Just now I'm staring at my only radio-controlled clock which is supposed to adjust automatically. That is still on summer-time!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant logic when come at from an entirely different perspective.
ReplyDeleteThe government always thinks they can do things better.
ReplyDeleteNothing bugs me more than the time change...in Nov. for us. So dumb..so hard on the bod...sooooooo Government. I loved the previous post about your kitty. Too cute, but a true gleam in those pretty eyes!
