Wow! those are great shots!
ReplyDeleteyou know all the names, how wonderful.
ReplyDeletemy favorite is the yellow with an eye on his tail fin. so the enemy comes lurking around - getting in his face.... just to have him zoom off the other direction....
Superb set of pictures.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fish and coral. All of them are beautiful. I love the colors. There is something about an aquarium that is calming and exciting too.
ReplyDeleteExcellent post Scriptor! The colours and rich variety of fish are just amazing.
ReplyDeleteBarry & linda
Now what you can't have an aquarium without is one of those little black and white stripey fish. Unfortunately I've totally forgotten the name, but hopefully you know the one I mean!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing variety! I feel like I've just been to a mini-aquarium. Great colors and textures in all of your shots.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful selection. When I've tried to shoot in acquaria I've had problems with reflections and poor lighting and movement.
ReplyDeleteI was able to find some private aquarium to shoot but no one to tell me what the names of the fish were. I have some of the same fish you do. I like this theme. Great job.

I think God had more fun creating fish than He did creating us. Beautiful colors, and so clear!
ReplyDeleteThe colors and patterns of these creatures are so gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos of something you obviously care about.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos of the fishes!
ReplyDeleteI love the water, and the life it holds! I also loved that movie where the old actor falls into the ocean and becomes a fish, Mr Limpet!
ReplyDeleteNice shots...
Wow! Is there ever a topic that has you stumped? Your fish photo collection is impressive but I love the last few shots the best.
ReplyDeleteGood point, Helen. I should perhaps have pointed out my shots were all of salt-water fish. Most people who keep fish at home have freshwater fish like Neon Tetras, Zebra Danios, and Angel Fish. I've got photos of those from the days when we had them but they aren't such good photos. Nevertheless, they'd make a good post some time.
ReplyDeleteLove the cowfish and the stars! Beautiful shots all, but those really are outstanding!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and you even know the names of the fish, wow! I never knew there was a longhorn cow fish before.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots with striking color. Clownfish and brittlestars are my favorites here although my eyes are still vibrating from the color throughout.
ReplyDeleteYou spent quite a bit of time there and lots of great pics! I like the trigger fish -it looks like an abstract painting:)
ReplyDeleteYou captured the vivid colors so well. I especially love the first photo. A super fish post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour.
Great pictures...so many different color combos and textures! My favorite would have to be those fire engine red starfish. We've just got purple and brown ones on the beaches here.
ReplyDeleteStunning - I really like the shark ones. :) You always have an amazing set of photos. :)
