Oh, I like the roses. There is just something about gates...maybe it is the invitation of what is beyond, holding possibilities....

No not an old one John. Never the less it's a nice bit of work.I much prefer the gate itself to the top arch. It's almost as if two different people made it. Or maybe the top was added later the scrolls are cold formed....How sad am I banging on about a gate!!
