A bit about me
There is an air of feeling good about today. Let’s hope it keeps up tomorrow, and the day
after, and the day after… There is a saying in Sweden "man
måste vara frisk för att orka vara sjuk" ~ "you have to be well to
cope with being ill". (Thanks Monica!)
This is my contribution to light and dark contrasts for the
Friday My Town Shoot-out and a way of letting you know that Fleabag Ivy
is fit and well (and now flealess or she wouldn’t be allowed on the bed!).

that is one sleepy kitty!
ReplyDeleteScriptor,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are back! Give the Fleabag a scratch for me - and carry on.
McGregor
All the best for you and welcome back!
ReplyDeleteIvy looks wonderful!
Filthy things are animals, humans included. I'm on constant sheep tic watch. It's working..Ive found seven this week One on me and the rest split 50/50 between the dogs.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you are felling better but not as happy as I bet you are.
Good luck.
Be gentle with yourself. It takes longer than you want to get well again. Your body has suffered an assault and it needs time to heal. Good that the fleas aren't keeping you company any longer. Be patient and gentle with your self-expectations.
ReplyDeleteNot only do I love cats, this contrast of the cat on a white black is priceless.
ReplyDeleteso, you've been ill? I've been concerned when you hadn't posted. I hope that you regain your strength. I'm so happy to hear from you! Ivy looks satisfied with her resting place.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I love cats and your photos have put a smile on my face. Thank you so much for sharing. A sincere and deep thank you as well for your kind comment on my blog. I am flattered and it touches me that you like a part of my blog that you wish to implement it in your own blog. You are very right, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you back blogging and on facebook again! May the improvement continue -- and be permanent! xoxox
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you back and yes you have to feel well to deal - period. Love the kitten on white - great shot. Look forward to seeing more from your perspective.
ReplyDeleteI am very glad you are feeling better. I loved the photos - cats always look so cosy. Well, I suppose they often ARE so cosy - if they have any choice in the matter!
ReplyDeleteYour cat looks so comfy.
ReplyDeleteMy oh my, Ms. Ivy certainly has grown.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling better, but leave Ivy out of the name calling....smile.
Name calling does not become you.
So happy to have you back....really.
It's said very affectionately, Vee, honest! Any way she is no longer carrying fleas so it has been dropped. Having to type one-handed - she's sitting on my right arm at the moment.

ReplyDeleteas long as the cat walks around with its eyes closed, its not going to see a darn gone thing. nothing i tell you, nothing at all.
peace love and harmony Darren.

Cute little cat!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite hard to take a picture of a black animal but you did a good job, but, I can see that your model is totally unimpressed by the whole proceedings, lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for your kind thoughts. Hearing from you all and visiting your blogs is helping the recovery process, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteIvy looks completely grown-up now, and such a beauty! Good job you managed to get rid of her fleas.
ReplyDeleteNice kitty. Glad things are looking a little brighter.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better. Being ill sure causes work for the mind and the soul. All the best to you are you regain your strength. So glad you have a loyal and understanding companion there. Love that first shot.

So good to have you back with us, John. Hope you continue to stay well. Wouldn't it be wonderful to feel as satisfied with everything as that cat looks? She has good reason, I'd say.
ReplyDeletedid you use your computer to give that yellow colour? welcome back.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the welcome back. No, the sheets are a pale greeny yellow.
