Billy Fury

Today is the anniversary of Billy Fury's death.  I can't believe he died thirty years ago!

    First time ever I hear of Billy Fury. Strange, really, since I do so like the music of the 1950s and 60s.

    I'd never heard of him either, Mieke but this post makes me wish I had. It sounds as if I missed out on something good here. And what a great statue, and how nice that his fan club still exists, and wants to keep his memory and music alive.

    I don't know much about him but I do know "Once Upon A Dream". Forty two is far too young to die.

    I must admit that I did not know who Billy Fury was either....see why I like this blog? I learn lots of new stuff.
    He reminds me of Elvis too.
