Sheep Street, Chipping Campden
The house in Sheep Street, Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds, built in 1517, where William Lane and Caroline (nee Hows) – my great, great, great grandparents - later lived. William was a plumber and glazier, carrying on the family business when his father, Richard, died in 1812. William married Caroline in 1813. He died in 1842, falling from his horse while collecting rents at Charringworth.
This post-card photo was taken in 1914.
