Hippo- thingy

 Today’s fun fact:  the word for the irrational fear of long words is ironically: 


Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia.


It is also one of the longest words in the dictionary.  You need a big mouth to get your tongue round that..

    While i do not "fear" them in the phobia sense, i do have a great deal of respect for them. They're easily angered and you do not get bitten by a hippo, you get speared.

    Would have to practice that one syllable by syllable for a while, and then be sure never to try to say it after a glass of wine!
