Shells...

"Shells from the Sands of Time".  Isn't that a wonderful title.  Published in 1876 it was a selection of non-fiction essays and a couple of ghost stories by the wife of Bulwer Lytton.

  5. Well it has to be one of the more unusual titles for works of fiction. The sort of title one would have wished to have dreamed up.

  6. It looks like a beautiful book. I wonder why the title though? Perhaps it relates to something in one of the essays or stories... I like many of the old book titles, they don't read as if they were made up by a PR company!
