My laptop is dead.
Or, at very least it is in a deep coma. Kiss of life hasn't worked and it is currently on life-support.
I've never written a blog posting on my phone before. One-fingered tapping on tiny keys does not make for long posts so please expect a lengthy silence...
Hoping it can be repaired or replaced soon!
ReplyDeleteSympathies and prayers you get a new one soon or that one works again
ReplyDeleteIts a horror when a system goes out. Its even worse typing on a phone.
Oh so sorry! May she RIP and may you soon return to long posts. PS, with photos!
ReplyDeletePoor little laptop! If all else fails, you may have to think of letting it go, hard as it sounds.
ReplyDeleteI don't like typing emails or any other longer bits of text on my mobile, either; I am much faster on a proper keyboard.
Often one doesn't know whether to hope for a speedy recovery or a quick release. I share your frustration of one finger tapping on those minuscule keys. Loading photos isn't as difficult, I find. So maybe you can say it in pictures?
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! I have a tiny tablet that I sometimes have to use and that is when I type a comment like this: "Good post!"
ReplyDeleteYou know I have much more to say than that! :-)
Ratsaroonie! We'll be here waiting whenever you get back up and running.
ReplyDeleteWishing your laptop a speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, a normal keyboard types far easier than a smartphone's one...
It might be time to pull the plug...so sorry John.
ReplyDeleteI am use to typing on my smartphone. But usually the word pops up after the first two letters! Hope you get a new laptop if that is what is comfortable for you.
ReplyDeleteWell I did offer!
ReplyDeleteJohn, I just wanted to thank you for the lovely postcard! I hope your trip was fabulous! We'll be heading out tomorrow for Portland, Ore. and I'll have to find another postcard for you! Take care!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Kiss of life? That, I suppose, explains the tongue-prints on the screen? 8-)
