  1. I hope that you still have all those: they are good examples of your artistic ability. I have another one of me that you did too. It's in colour and the one above was, I am speculating, the first of the two (the dates are the same) because the nose in the one you gave me is slightly less imperious (and probably truer to life). I should add that whilst typing this I can also see your picture "The Pool" and have some of Mum's pictures too. Yet another talent I didn't inherit.

  3. You are an artist. Chances are that you continue to be an artist, but your medium has changed? Gifts are interesting things aren't they? Once upon a time I was sort of an artist, and sort of a poet. Now I'm sort of a preacher and sort of a picture taker. Lord knows what I will be in the future.

  4. Wow, these are very, very good! I just saw the very end of "The Dirty Dozen" on TV yesterday, so I can say you got Charles Bronson just right, as I know you did of the others too! GBE is in good company! I hope you still drawing, please say that you are.
