Annabel – the lap cat. “Yes, I know you are trying to work! But, more importantly, I’m trying to get
attention!”
Playing hide and seek with Mac.
There’s a mouse here somewhere.
I wonder if it’s in here?
Mac, looking serious.
Annabel, trying the ‘Aren’t I sweet’ approach
to getting attention.
Getting treats.
This is mine.
Attack, attack, attack…
You asked for it…
Best of friends again.
Two adorable cats - I love how they snuggle up together.
ReplyDeleteWe're hoping to come and meet them next month, xx
Looking forward to seeing you and I'm sure they'll enjoy some different company. They have already adopted Brendan, the chap who is working on our house at the moment.
DeleteI love the way they snuggle, too! Our two kitties get along really well, but they don't share the same bed. Each one has their own favorite spots, which they occupy at random times of day. Once I saw them both on the couch together, but there was at least a foot or two of space between them. Wonder what makes the difference?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what makes the difference. Our last two cats only once snuggled up together on a couch in all the time they lived here.
DeleteIs Mac the older?
ReplyDeleteYes, Jill. Annabel is 6 years old and Mac is 10 years old.
DeleteNever a minute of boredom in a household with cats, is there!
ReplyDeleteThese two have, by the looks of it, fully embraced live at their new place; they look as if they'd never been anywhere else.
I have sent the link to this post to my uncle, who has two cats (siblings as well) and will certainly find many similarities to the goings-on at his house.
The "Aren't I sweet?" approach would get me every time. The last photo is postcard perfect.
ReplyDeleteJohn, you're becoming quite a cat person.
Important medical decisions to be made this week.
All in a day's work of being a cat!
ReplyDeleteThe kitties seem to have settled in well, and have now completely taken over the household. As pets do! Lovely. xoxox
ReplyDeleteI love those green eyes and the poses they make together!
ReplyDelete...lovely pictures..it´s always fantastic to see, how tehy feel at home..and it´s always ice to know, that it was the best idea of all of you, to take them home both...furthermore a lot of love and fun and snuggling times together ;o)
ReplyDeleteSusanne
Mac makes Annabel look so tiny compared to him! I love her green eyes. Both look very happy in their new home. When my son's dog, Eddy, lived here he always would squeeze his giant self into Squeak's little bed. Made me laugh every time! That last pic reminded me of that!
ReplyDeleteHe is nearly twice her size, Yaya. When they were weighed at the vet's Annabel was 3.3 kg and Mac was 5.5 kg. ( That's 7lb 4½oz and 12lb 2oz in real money!)
