What better piece of machinery could one have than a Rolls Royce car or a Harley Davidson bike?
I suppose the answer is a camera -
(And yes - that is from a long time ago - I had dark hair in those days - but I still long for some aspects of my Pentax, despite all the advantages of a digitial camera.)

Nice bike!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I have never longed for film days...although I do know that many liked it better.
ReplyDeleteNow there is some classy machinery. Thanks for your visit. Our son traveled all over Europe and Russia in his younger days and always chose a Pentax. Yes, and I had dark hair one time too. Great photos love the first one.

Impressive!!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet machinery. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteLol you got me! Yes, the bike is fantastic but if was caught unaware with your camera shot.
ReplyDeleteI'll agree with the Rolls Royce, but Harley Davidson? eh. Not so much. The real Rolls Royce of motorcycles is BMW - at least it was when I was riding. It probably still is.
ReplyDeleteI had a Nikon which I liked a lot. The only drawback to 35mm is the cost. If not for cost, I'd still be using film.
Haven't seen the real colour of my hair for about 25 years - could be bright green now for all I know.
ReplyDeleteGreat machinery! Mighty fine vehicles!
ReplyDeleteThe Harley is THE MACHINE of our generation. Love it and have it on my short list to get a ride on one. Great close up shots.
ReplyDeleteFast and shiney machines! I try and try to think out of the box, more work required before I'd come up with a camera as a machine, brilliant thinking. Love your selections.
ReplyDeleteThe last motorbike I rode was a Triumph 500 (in the days when Triumphs really were!) but I used Pentax SLRs until I went digital with a Kodak back in July 2000. I shall post the very early (6th!) photo taken on it soon on Eagleton Notes - you'll see why!
