“We are young only once, after that we need some other excuse.”  ~ Anon

“Life comment: I rely on default mode a lot.”  My friend McGregrr

“England has no kidney bank, but it does have a Liverpool .....”  Anon

“There was no respect for youth when I was young, and now that I am old, there is no respect for age - I missed it coming and going.”  ~J.B. Priestly

“Broken pencils are pointless…”  Anon

    1. |have you ever played the game where you can have a dinner party of people (alive or dead) and you have to choose them and explain why? When I was in my thirties Priestley was one of my chosen guests. I loved the common sense humour in The Good Companions and the fact that he was a founder member of CND.

  5. I love quotes but wish I could be more organized about saving them. Here's another: “In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: It goes on." Robert Frost
