    It's very possible i'm going to be using your friend McGregrr's comment, with citation of course, a lot in the future. That last one made me laugh!

      |have you ever played the game where you can have a dinner party of people (alive or dead) and you have to choose them and explain why? When I was in my thirties Priestley was one of my chosen guests. I loved the common sense humour in The Good Companions and the fact that he was a founder member of CND.
