MOFFAT

After staying at John and Sue’s flat last month we left Glasgow early and had breakfast on our way down South – at a cafe in Moffat.

After eating we wandered over to the toffee shop – partly to buy some confectionary for the journey and partly to go “Gosh, do you remember...” at all the old sweets on offer.

Moffat Town Hall.

The Black Bull, established in 1586, and a Burns place of interest.

A Victorian post box from 1871 still survives here in Moffat. Sadly, all too many of these have been replaced in recent years.
