Rudolph the red-nosed horse….. In 2001 the movement of livestock in Britain
was restricted by an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease. As a result, for the first time in its
history Harrods, the famous London department store, had to replace its
reindeer and sleigh with a horse and carriage.

Hope the reindeer are back. No, i've nothing against horses, i love them and love to ride. Christmas really needs a reindeer or two, that's all.

ReplyDeleteI never thought reindeer really did pull sleighs, I imagine them as big deer roaming wild in the woods. Shows how much I know!!
