Well I do know that screech owls eat over a hundred Fifty songbirds a season, and I love screech owls in spite of that.

ReplyDeleteAnd here i thought it was that magic reindeer mix we used to make to sprinkle on the front lawn!
ReplyDeleteWell, the screech owl thing makes sense. If you think of an owl wanting at least one meal every day, a small songbird would be just that one meal. 150 does not even cover half a year's meal for the owl.
