Happy New Year

You are all wished a Happy New Year from

Annabel -

Mac -

as depicted so accurately by Simon Tofield in "Simon's Cat".  (With thanks to Susanne who sent me it for Christmas).

  1. Thank you, and the same to you and yours!
Hopefully, Annabel and Mac won't be too frightened when the fireworks go off. I remember the strategies our cats had developed for that night, such as hiding in the bathroom dabinet behind the stacks of towels where they normally weren't allowed. But on that night, we left the door to that cabinet slightly ajar for them so that they could get in and out as they pleased. They usually stayed invisible until the next morning.

  2. Thanks John and I wish you & yours a magic New Year too!

  3. Ah,yes, a surprise, a good surprise would be the best!!

  4. A blessed and beautiful Happy New Year to you and all whom you love!

  5. Cats are so interesting, John, and the "Simon's Cats' video shorts absolutely "nail" them. Have you looked up cats in nativity scenes? (If not, search the web for images and a slide video, as well). To you and Jo and your family, the happiest of New Years in 2016.
    Take care, McGregor

  6. A very Happy New Year to you and yours too John!

  7. Happy New Year John. Here's to another year filled with good books and lots of mail! ;) Hope all is well and you are enjoying a happy holiday season! Cards to follow soon.
