We have a new member of the household:-
As yet she hasn't got a name - she's just Kitten.
She seems to have a lovely temperament.
Helping me with Postcrossing.
All cats love a mouse to play with.
And all youngsters love a box.
Why do cats love shoes?
Chasing the hands
Hardly a handful.
That early morning look!

Great shots of an entertaining addition to the household. It's a beauty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky kitten. He/she has certainly landed on her feet by becoming one of the Edward's household. So cute. Loved the last picture - looked just like a startled E.T. Email to you following sometime today. x
ReplyDeleteOoopps! Just noticed - "It" is a she! Should read blogs more carefully!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the family little kitten. I'm very glad you got her - it's been odd being the only family members with pets.
ReplyDeleteI love that last photograph and can't wait to meet her.
The early morning look is so apt! She may like hands now but watch out for your feet. They love to chase after your feet as you walk...just when you least expect them. I wonder if she will keep her blue eyes, then you could call her Frankie.
ReplyDelete!!!!! I am melting here in front of my computer... and want one, too!!! (But I am way too reasonable to have another cat so soon after my old one died, and in my current situation.)
ReplyDelete*sigh* What a sweetie! How can your son look so serious while playing with her :-) She's tiny, can't be much more than 10 weeks old, right?
Will her eyes remain that blue?? I don't think I've ever seen a cat with blue eyes, but then I avoid being around cats much as I'm allergic. These photos still make me go aaawwww though - and the last one literally made me Laugh Out Loud.
ReplyDeleteOh. My. My. My!!!! She is absolutely delicious! I'm sure shipping to NY wouldn't cost much, as she weighs so little, and already adores cardboard boxes....
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet. What a lovely little kitten. And knowing you, I'm sure you'll come up with a beautiful and very appropriate name for her. xoxo Whatever it is, will be just right.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! She has all the makings of a great companion and many "blog worthy" moments! Enjoy her! You need a naming contest!
ReplyDeleteHA! Love that early morning look! What a little cutie, she is. I wonder how much trouble she'll get herself into ;)
ReplyDeleteShe is a beauty. You obviously love her already. I too love cats, but at three, possibly we have enough...but then, is that even possible?
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little kitten.....you are in for a wild ride my friend...don't say I didn't warn you.
ReplyDeleteThere will be moments when you will be shaking your head in disbelief at some mischievous deed, and then others when you will be laughing hysterically at her antics.....you two enjoy each other...looking forward to the upcoming kitty adventures.
Why are black cats considered to be lucky in Britain, but unlucky in America?
ReplyDeleteAnd why does that cat have blue eyes? These are things that make me wonder!
Such an adorable kitten! Will it keep the blue eyes or does that change as it gets older? I think all kittens have blue eyes when they first open them. Or am I making this up? Ramses was once that little - hard to believe! They are adorable when they are that young and playful. And when they are older as well - Ramses makes us laugh just about every day!
ReplyDeleteShe is seven weeks old.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about her eyes - it may be to do with the fact that her mother was Russian Blue. (I think her Dad must have been a one-night-stand- a handsome starnager who passed by in the dark.)
I think Richard is going to call her Ivy - pobably because she climbs everywhere.
As soon as she gets into serious trouble she'll be available for hire - or shipping to NY. Already she's clawing her way up the fly curtains on the conservatory door....
I just wish she wasn't quite so black - it makes photography so difficult.
Even in the Mad Kitty photo, she looks as if she is going to be such a treasure - We called our black cat intermittently, 'Claws at twenty to four', for some reason, as his claws were always to the fore! His given name was Jet, but he was called Zeeboocat, or Zeebs, by my son, and it stuck.
ReplyDeleteI love black cats, I do!
She is such a beauty. Good luck in finding a great name for her, Scriptor x
Oh, what an adorable kitten!
ReplyDeleteOh! Gosh, out her in the post she is adorable.
