A Weekend Ramble
Another early start to the day.
A Painted Lady butterfly was around the garden all morning.
A baby Water Boatman in the pond.
Yet another sunny day so I headed down to the beach again. It was absolutely crowded - well, Iain and Carol, David and Pat (and of course Briagha) were down there!
Fetch!
Now who can I go and shake myself over?
I'm not really that miserable - I hope! It's just that this photography is a serious business.

Look at them as children...
"You can understand and relate to most people better if you look at them – no matter how old or impressive they may be – as if they are children. For most of us never really grow up or mature all that much – we simply grow taller. Oh, to be sure, we laugh less and play less and wear uncomfortable disguises like adults, but beneath the costume is the child we always are, whose needs are simple, whose daily life is still best described by fairy tales."
– Leo Rosten
This was me as a twelve year old with Big Brother behind me. I'd taken my glasses off for the photo so wouldn't have been able to see a thing. Wonder if it helps you relate to me better????
And a passport type photo from college days. A real time of fairy tales and princesses.

I've Aged
In case you have noticed that my profile photo has changed (for the worse) it's not that I've aged fourteen years overnight. I've just decided to be a bit more honest about my current appearance. My excuse prior to Bryony and Mark's wedding was that I didn't have a decent up-to date photo of myself. I can't use that excuse any more. So here is the new CJE... or do I mean the old CJE!

Us
When GB and I are out and about we usually end up photographing those establishments in which we have coffee or something to eat. On Bank Holiday Monday we had lunch with Helen and Ian in the Feathers at Buddleigh Salterton.
Instead of our usual habit of photographing the food or coffee or crossword I photographed Helen and Ian and then the latter photographed GB and I.
