Friday My Town Shoot-out - Light and dark contrasts

A bit about me
Hopefully I am back blogging.   I am also back to looking at blogs and with luck will come to see how you are.

There is an air of feeling good about today.  Let’s hope it keeps up tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after… There is a saying in Sweden "man måste vara frisk för att orka vara sjuk" ~ "you have to be well to cope with being ill".  (Thanks Monica!)

Light and dark contrasts

This is my contribution to light and dark contrasts for the Friday My Town Shoot-out and a way of letting you know that Fleabag Ivy is fit and well (and now flealess or she wouldn’t be allowed on the bed!).

  3. Filthy things are animals, humans included. I'm on constant sheep tic watch. It's working..Ive found seven this week One on me and the rest split 50/50 between the dogs.

I'm happy you are felling better but not as happy as I bet you are.

    Good luck.

  4. Be gentle with yourself. It takes longer than you want to get well again. Your body has suffered an assault and it needs time to heal. Good that the fleas aren't keeping you company any longer. Be patient and gentle with your self-expectations.

I'm glad you're feeling better, but leave Ivy out of the name calling....smile.
Name calling does not become you.
So happy to have you back....really.

    1. It's said very affectionately, Vee, honest! Any way she is no longer carrying fleas so it has been dropped. Having to type one-handed - she's sitting on my right arm at the moment.

  13. It is quite hard to take a picture of a black animal but you did a good job, but, I can see that your model is totally unimpressed by the whole proceedings, lol.

  18. So good to have you back with us, John. Hope you continue to stay well. Wouldn't it be wonderful to feel as satisfied with everything as that cat looks? She has good reason, I'd say.
