As regular readers of Rambles will know I am keen on anything postal. The periodical Hebevents ( www.hebevents.com) greeted me this week with an appropriate story by journalist and photographer Roz Macaskill from Skye. .
How wonderful to receive this moment in time after so many years! I want to tell you that your previous post is filled with so many beautiful pics of the flowers..love it! I can see on Facebook that you've been traveling and enjoying a vacation. I hope you're feeling well and have a good week!
A big hurray for the thoughtful Royal Mail worker(s) who did this effort to finally deliver the postcard. The recipient and sender happy, and also we get happy by reading this great news. Thank you for sharing!
Hello - thanks for dropping by to leave a comment. Your comments are much appreciated even if I don't always reply. They will appear as soon as they have been moderated.
I am using Instagram and Facebook a lot more nowadays and sometimes they are replacing my posts on the blog. If you want to follow me on Instagram my address is @cjohnedwards. On Facebook I can be found at Clive John Edwards but you will need to send me a request to follow me as it is not open to the public.
I don't think they should charge extra postage. After all, it was their fault!
ReplyDeleteLittle bits of amazing in life always.
ReplyDeleteBlast from the past!
ReplyDeleteThis happens once in so often, and it is like a time capsule to those involved. Thanks for sharing such a happy story!
